I found the head and body for this robot on the ground.

The electric meter which forms his body was in very bad condition. I gave it a thorough clean before sanded it down. I then drilled holes through it to enable light to pass.
I lined the inside with organic glass which I frosted inside and out.
At the back, I fixed a large printed circuit leaving all the electrical components in place.
Inside is a cluster of white LEDs which, thanks to the silver paint, gives a slightly bluish light.

The robot’s head is an Aquarius water meter.  I added a big nut and a ball for his antenna.

Both arms are from a bicycle's derailleur gear shifter.

    Size: 31 cm

    Hauteur : 28cm

I created this robot for my friend Brigitte.

I knew that she'd wanted for one of my robots for a long time and as she had just moved house ....this was a housewarming gift.

I do not have that much to say about the parts, body or head. They were given to me by friends who repair and bicycles and motorbikes professionally so I don't really know what purpose they initially served.

At the front of her body (the hollow), I fixed an espresso machine filter, through which light passes.

She now takes pride of place on Bri's kitchen island. She is holding a pencil in her hand because Brigitte just loves to make lists.
Many thanks to Mister Pepette (Lord P) who insisted on posing with the robot for this photo.
