Yuhay 750

Le samedi 31 janvier dernier, j’ai participé au premier «Bricole it yourself» organisé par Makery.

Les participants, une quinzaine, étaient rassemblés autour d’une grande table, venus seuls comme moi ou en groupe : nous avions 5 heures pour réaliser un projet.
Certains étaient venus avec un projet précis en tête, d’autres ont fait avec ce qu’ils ont trouvé sur place, c’est mon cas.  

J’ai commencé à réaliser Yuhay 750 lors de cet événement : J’ai fouiné dans le tas de «récup» et jeté mon dévolu sur un disque dur externe de Mac et un spot. J’avais apporté, lumière et alimentation.

J’ai tout démonté, découpé, assemblé et au bout de cinq heures, il ressemblait à ça, profitez-en pour découvrir les différents bricolages réalisés ce jour-là, c’est surprenant !

De retour à mon atelier, je l’ai finalisé, il mesure 29cm, et le voici :

On Saturday 31st January I attended the first «Bricole it yourself» organized by Makery. "Bricole» loosely translated from French means "DIY".  

The participants, fifteen in total, were gathered around a large table. Some, like me, came alone; others attended in groups.  

We had a total of 5 hours to complete our projects.  Some participants came fully equipped.  Others, like myself, decided to derive their inspiration from the diverse 'discarded' objects available on site. 

At "Bricole it yourself" I created Yuhay 750.  I sifted through the selection of objects for recycling/upcycling and was drawn towards a MAC external hard drive and a spotlight. 

I had only come equipped with some LED lights and a power source. 

True to form I dismantled everything then started cutting and assembling.  

After five hours intensive work Yuhay 750 came to be.

Take this opportunity to discover the many creations made that day.  They are truly amazing! 

Back in my studio, I put the finishing touches to Yuhay 750 who now measures an impressive
29 cm.
